The Clearwater Chargers Soccer Club is dedicated to teaching young people to excel at the game of soccer. The club fields several teams for both boys and girls. There are competitive teams for boys ages eight to 19 years and for girls ages 10 to 18 years. Over the years, the Chargers have won 52 state championships. In 1997, the U-19 boys' team won the United States Youth Soccer Association's National Tournament. There are recreational teams for young people of all ages.
