Silver Streaks Skating Club offers recreational skating, as well as competitive skating. Its members practice at McVann-O'Keefe Skating Rink. Figure skating classes are available to students of all ages and skill levels. The clubs are sponsored by the United States Figure Skating Association.

Opened in 1974, the city's ice skating rink provides a forum for youth hockey, skating lessons and ice time for families and individuals who want a safe, fun place to enjoy this sport. The facility is operated and maintained by the Peabody Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department.
