Located in Huntingdon Valley, Pa., Lower Moreland High School is a part of the Lower Moreland Township School District. The school provides educational services to students in grades 9 through 12. Its general academic curriculum includes English, physics, chemistry, biology, math, economics and history. It conducts French, German and Spanish language classes. Lower Moreland High School offers a variety of extracurricular activities, such as music, studio arts, and health, technical and physical education. The school also operates a student council that organizes craft fairs and sports tournaments. It supports a range of sports activities that includes football, basketball and wrestling. In addition, it provides special education classes to gifted and talented students. The school features a library and media center that maintains a collection of books, databases and reference materials. Lower Moreland High School is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
Huntingdon Valley Christian Academy is a Seventh Day Adventist School, dedicated to both education and faith. Since 1969 it has been prepared and encouraged kids to live out their faith in school and wherever they go after graduation.
