Founded in 1979, Tupelo Christian Academy offers Christ-centered educational programs to more than 140 students in kindergarten through grade 12. It is a subsidiary of Tupelo Childrens Mansion, which provides services to children up to the age of 10. The mansion operates a church and gymnasium. Its thrift store features clothing, furniture, and dining and living room supplies. Tupelo Childrens Mansion employs social workers and counselors. The mansion organizes camps and tours. Established in 1914, Tupelo High School is part of the Tupelo Public School District that provides academic services to more than 7,000 students from prekindergarten through Grade 12 throughout northeastern Mississippi. The school s 14-building campus features performing arts center, an advanced technology center, a7,500-seat stadium, three practice fields, gymnasiums and an intramural field. It offers more than 15 subjects, as part of its curriculum, including English, mathematics, science, social studies, psychology, sociology and creative writing.
