Bartow High School is governed by the Polk County Public Schools that also governs various other schools, such as Auburndale Central Elementary School, Crystal Lake Middle School and George Jenkins High School. The high school educates more than 1,000 students every year in grades nine through 12. Located in Bartow, Fla., the high school offers classes in a wide range of subjects, including foreign languages, science, economics, statistics, and world history and geography. In addition, the school provides a variety of fine art classes, band, music and choir classes. It organizes various sporting activities, including football, basketball, baseball, volleyball, track and cross country.
