Guernsey-Sunrise High School is a rural educational institution that works to meet the academic and recreational needs of students in grade 7 through 12. It enrolls more than 140 students, as well as utilizes various technological tools for making teaching-learning activities more useful for students. The school is by the state of Wyoming and the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement. It offers classes in English, social studies, math, science and computer education. Guernsey-Sunrise High School also imparts instruction in physical education, health and safety studies, and fine and performing arts. Additionally, it conducts football, volleyball, basketball, and track and field tournaments and leagues. Located in Guernsey, Wyo., the school is a part of Platte County School District 2, which governs elementary, middle and high schools.
