Groesbeck High School operates under Groesbeck Independent School District, and provides academic programs for more than 490 students in grades nine through 12. The school provides placement program for college bound students. In addition, it offers dual credit and technical preparation courses through Navarro College, McLennan Community College and Texas State Technical College. Its curriculum includes mathematics, science, social studies, English, vocational agriculture, family and consumer sciences, technology and computers, and fine arts. It offers a wide range of extracurricular programs, such as band, theater arts program and sports that includes baseball, cheerleading, cross country, golf, power lifting, tennis, track and volleyball. The school also organizes district, regional and state-level competitions for sports and academics, and participates in student council, national honor society, Spanish club, art club and technology students association.
