Western High School offers academic programs to more than 400 students in grades seven through 12. The school provides classes in English, mathematics, computer education, science, social studies, health and physical education. Its elective programs include agriculture, art, business, foreign language, industrial technology, music, and family and consumer science. The school provides college preparatory courses in various subjects, such as basic algebra concepts, positive and negative numbers, solution of equations and inequalities, graphing, arithmetic review and problem solving. It has a guidance department offering scholarships and financial aid to students. The school also offers growth, nutrition, behavior and ecology classes.
