Gowanda Middle School is a coeducational institution that offers academic education and enrichment programs to more than 400 students in grades five through eight. The school organizes a range of sporting activities that include football, cheerleading, volleyball, tennis, cross-country, basketball, wrestling, bowling, softball, and track and field. It has a library that supports the school curriculum and assists students in the use of current and appropriate information. The school offers education in various subjects, including math, science, computer applications, health and physical education, arts and social studies. In addition, it has a cafeteria that provides food services to students. Established in 2002, Gowanda Middle School is a part of the Gowanda Central School District and is located in Gowanda, Ky.
