The Green Vale School was established in 1923 and provides a variety of academic and athletic programs to students in grades kindergarten through nine. The school s curriculum includes programs in business applications, literature and composition, mathematics, music, science, world languages, and health and physical education. It has an art department providing classes in concerts, recitals, musicals and plays. The Green Vale School also offers a variety of extracurricular activities, including an AIDS committee, brass ensemble, environmental council, literary magazine, math counts club, student council and student newspaper. It provides a range of sports activities, such as soccer, football, hockey, baseball, softball, lacrosse and track. The school additionally offers tuition and financial aid to students.
