South Valley Academy is an educational institute that provides a variety of academic programs and services for students of various age groups. The academy administers the Service Learning program, which provides students with a variety of learning and development opportunities while meeting real community needs. Its students offer more than 16,000 hours of service through partnerships with more than 80 schools, agencies and businesses. South Valley Academy provides works to develop personal and life skills in its students. The academy additionally administers individualized Personal Learning Plans, which includes students goals in academics, physical fitness, service learning, career development, character issues and personal interests. It also offers counseling and coaching services in the areas of learning style, attendance and self discipline. South Valley Academy is located in Albuquerque, N.M.
