Prairieville Middle School is an educational institution that is a part of Ascension Parish Public Schools, which has a combined enrollment of more than 17,500 students in over 20 schools. It offers educational services to nearly 650 students in grades four through eight. In addition, the school conducts classes in prekindergarten. Prairieville Middle School supports a student council, cheerleading team and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. It also maintains 4-H, beta and science clubs. The school provides training and coaching in a variety of athletic activities, such as football, soccer, basketball, and track and field. Located in Prairieville, La., Prairieville Middle School operates a parent-teacher organization that sponsors educational and social programs that complement the school curriculum.
