Established in 1976, Canfield Middle School enrolls students in grades six through eight and is located in Coeur dAlene, Idaho. Its academic programs include spelling bee, advanced learning program, academic assistance programs, math counts, speech and declamation and geography bee. It recognizes students with academic grades, academic improvement and exemplary citizenship through class act. It also operates the Idaho Drug Free Youth program to help students resist tobacco, drug and alcohol use. Its Radical Raffle incentive program rewards students who demonstrate good citizenship, good behavior, as well as an overall positive outlook. Its recycling crew recycles newspaper, paper, magazines, ink cartridges and cans every fourth period. The school s library provides resources, such as books, journals and magazines and Internet access.
