West Hollywood Elementary is part of the Los Angeles Unified School District. The elementary school is just south of Sunset Boulevard and Doheny Drive. The school prides itself on its current API score at 849. West Hollywood Elementary is also a School for Advanced Studies that combines advanced curriculum and a small-group learning approach.
The Doheny School is located in a converted house, and offers a pre-school program for children between the ages of 2 and 5 years. It is fully certified and has a warm, friendly atmosphere where students can learn and play comfortably. The school also has a large, open space outdoors, with a gated yard, so that the children have a safe place to play during break time.
