The 911 Driving School offers driver's education programs to its students by police officers. As police officers are required to stay up-to-date on all the current traffic laws and be adept at defensive driving, they are natural driving instructors.
The Washington Karate Association teaches Karate-do with the highest standards and professionalism. There are 20 to 25 classes each week as well as practice sessions. They have tournaments and summer Karate camps. Each year the Lakewood Dojo participates in local, national and international competitions and always does well.

The church has been serving the Lakewood community since 1946.
The Covenant Bible Seminary offers weekly night classes in a variety of topics such as Church History, The Art of Preaching, Biblical Counseling, and Dogmatics. It accepts students at any level academically or spiritually, and offers a welcoming continuation of any person's Christian faith. Weekly classes are held Monday through Thursday from 6pm to 9pm, and students are instructed to pick one 3-credit class per night to register for a full course load. While accreditation is encouraged, students are also invited to audit classes free of charge for their own spiritual growth. Regular classes are held September through June, with summer school available through independent study.
Priority Nursing Agency offers a comprehensive Certified Nurse's Assistant training program. Upon completion students receive a certificate of completion and become registered as a Nurse's Assistant with the State of Washington. Priority Nursing offers day and evening classes and job placement assistance. Tuition is 100 percent reimbursed if graduate is hired by a long-term facility within one year.
Musette Piano Studio is a private piano tutoring center that offers lessons and lectures on piano music theory and technique by skilled teachers. Located in the center of Korea Town in Boo Han Plaza, the studio is geared toward Korean-American students but also open to students of all age, race and orientation.
