The Adult and Community Education of Martha's Vineyard offers a variety of continuing education classes and workshops including languages and arts, self-help, education and parenting skills, cooking, writing, literature, and professional development.  An international volunteer program is also offered.  Class schedules and courses offered can be viewed on their website.  Classes are held at various locations including the Martha's Vineyard Regional High School, the MV Public Charter School, Featherstone, West Tisbury School, Kitchen Porch, and MVTV.

The Farm Institute, located in Katama, is a teaching farm specializing in educating children and adults about the principles of farming. The farm operates a summer camp for children, after-school programs and work/teaching days, and also hosts occasional lectures and classes that cover all aspects of farming, from livestock maintenance to harvesting procedures. The farm also operates seasonal CSA programs through which patrons can purchase meat. It has its own grass-fed lamb and beef as well as pasturized pork and chicken available for puchase year round at the farm.

Kitchen Porch specializes in catering and event planning, as well as cooking courses, workshops, foraging excursions and local farm tours. Owner Jan Buhrman, a well-known figure in the Martha's Vineyard food scene, emphasizes the use of local food and sustainable farming. Kitchen Porch also makes a number of prepared items, such as jams and spice rubs, available at various locations around the island and the seasonal farmer's markets, as well as prepared meals available for pickup in the summer.
