I graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication. After working many years in the corporate world, I discovered my true calling in education. After attending Ottawa University, I received my teaching degree. I taught for 7 years in the Arizona Public School system. I am a state certified teacher. In addition, I meet the state requirements to be considered a highly qualified early childhood educator by the Arizona state department of education. I am also trained in CPR and First aid.
Fundamentals Preschool Curriculum
Our curriculum has a theme-based lesson format. The lessons include arts and crafts, rhythm and movement, stories, and many more activities. The reading lessons will focus on letter names and the sounds. The math lessons will focus on counting, recognizing the numbers, and shapes.
Our curriculum features 3 core components:
Life skills: Each day the children engage in a lesson with puppets or games, helping them practice vital life skills such as hygiene, health, and sharing.
Pre-Kindergarten Skills: Each activity aims to teach children the critical skills needed to succeed in school.
Life Science Skills: Each week, a different life science theme will be taught. These themes include vehicles, astronomy, the earth, and the ocean. The children will participate in fun activities to expand their knowledge of the theme that is the focus for that week.
