Founded by Thomas Beaty in 1978, Universal Blancher focuses its resources on supplying ingredients and services to the peanut industry. The company is committed to providing high quality peanut products and services to its customers. In 1999 its current owners, Universal Blanchers, purchased the company. Since that time, the business has grown to include five peanut processing plants with key facilities in every major United States peanut growing region. These facilities include a peanut dry roasting facility in Dublin, Texas, a peanut cleaning operation in Blakely, Ga., and a full roasting and peanut butter ingredient plant in Edenton, N.C.
