Monmouth County's Highway Divison is responsible for the maintenance of all county roadways, including repairs, construction and winter snow removal. The division is a part of the Monmouth County Department of Public Works and Engineering.
The Bloomingdale Department of Public Works (DPW) is headquartered at 188 Union Avenue. The department is responsible for collecting refuse and recycling in the borough. The DPW will collect batteries, tires, newspapers, white metal appliances, metal and comingling containers, but will not pick up grass clippings. The department is led by a superintendent and assistant superintendent.
Cinnaminson's Public Works building is located on Union Landing Road. A large parking lot holds the township's utility trucks. The facility handles issues related to public works, parks and recreation and road supervision and is also the site of Cinnaminson's Recycling Center. The office is open to the public every Wednesday or by appointment.
The Department of Public Works (DPW) is responsible for leaf collection, snow removal and repairing potholes on Village-maintained roads. Residents should also call if a sewer backs up in their home.
The DPW also handles recycling and provides residents with green or blue toters, which can be purchased online. Recyclable items can also be dropped off at DPW's Recycling Center. Its hours are Tuesday and Thursday, 8am - 4pm, and Saturday, 8am - noon.

Programs are offered through the department including Clean Up, Bulky Item Disposal and access to the town's recycling center. This is also where you get street opening permits and driveway permits.
