The Valparaiso Street Division is responsible for the maintenance of city-owned streets, parking lots and alleys. It offers a range of services that includes patching, grinding, resurfacing and crack sealing. The division also provides street sweeping services that prevent debris and hazardous materials from building up on roadways and entering storm drains. In addition, the Valparaiso Street Division offers snow plowing services, as well as issues dumpster permits. It also provides assistance to police, fire and emergency services departments. Located in Valparaiso, Ind., the division is a part of Valparaiso Public Works, which offers various services for the development and maintenance of the city s infrastructure. Valparaiso Public Works is also responsible for trash collection, sidewalk replacement and tree trimming.
