A sure stop for a quick meal, Vivian's Cafe offers specials every day ranging from meatballs in Spanish sauce to pork chops. Food options include full hot meals—like Friday's goat in sauce—sandwiches, chicken fingers and Spanish food. The restaurant has an outside patio for a sit-down meal or counters if you're just popping in for a quick lunch.
This is the flagship location of the prestigious eatery. Originally founded in 1989, the restaurant has reopened after undergoing renovations. The menu features a mix of American and Mediterranean cuisine with dishes that include Crispy Calamari a la Carciofo, Kobe Beef Stroganoff, Crispy duck l’orange, Wood Grilled Wild Salmon, Lamb Duo and New World Paella, among many others.
The first Friendly's opened in Springfield, Massachusetts in 1935 and has since exploded across the East Coast with restaurants in 16 states. The menu features everything from hamburgers, wraps and sandwiches to salads and kids' meals. Top it all off with an ice cream sundae or other ice cream inspired drinks and desserts.
Salvatore DiMaggio began the Corporate Cafe chain back in 1992 in Andover, Massachusetts. Since then the company has opened locations in Medord, Woburn and Charlestown. DiMaggio spends most of his time here at the Rutherford Avenue location, and says that he loves working in the area. Even though the Corporate Cafe is hidden in building number 500 of the Hood Industrial Park, the cafe isn't just for employees. DiMaggio says, "Everyone is welcome to stop in for a bite!"
