Established in 1991, Middle Paxton Elementary School is a learning center that provides a variety of educational opportunities to students in kindergarten through grade six. The school has an enrollment of more than 350 students. It offers classes in language arts, social studies, reading, math, science, music and physical education. Middle Paxton Elementary School maintains a library, gymnasium and computer laboratory. It provides guidance counseling, nursing, and occupational and speech therapy services. The school is a part of the Central Dauphin School District, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools. The district s schools offer special education programs for students with developmental disabilities.
