Calvin Christian's mission is to work in partnership with parents and the church to equip students as disciples of Christ. Its education is integrated with a biblical worldview in all subject areas. The school is located at Grace Free Evangelical Church.
Lakeville North High School is one of the community's two high schools. Located just two miles west of downtown Lakeville on Ipava Avenue, North opened in 1993 to 660 students. Today, Lakeville North, which is home to the Panthers, hosts 1,802 students in grades 9-12. Before Lakeville South High School opened in 2005, North was known simply as Lakeville High School and housed all of the district's grade 9-12 students.
The school is led by Principal Marne Berkvam and in 2009 was named a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence. Prior to North, Lakeville's high school was in the building that is now Kenwood Trial Middle School.
