Webber International University was established in 1927 as a womens college, with the exclusive purpose of teaching women about business. It is chartered as a nonprofit organization, under the educational and charitable laws of the state of Florida. It offers various undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate courses in subjects, such as marketing, accounting and sports management. It is a member of National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics and the Florida Sun Conference. It offers various career services, including on-campus recruiting opportunities for full-time employment, summer jobs and internships. Its facilities include a computer laboratory, offering computer information systems; financial aid department that provides state grants and federal programs; and a book store. Webber International University is located in Babson Park, Fla.
