The Avery Point is one of five regional campuses of the University of Connecticut. The campus offers undergraduate programs in American studies, Coastal studies and Maritime studies as well as the bachelor of general studies program and additional majors. The campus also runs a graduate program in Marine sciences. The university enrolls about 29,500 students, of which about 4,500 are undergraduate students at the regional campuses.
