Nucla Junior/Senior High School provides a range of educational and extracurricular programs for students in grades 7 through 12. Its academic curriculum includes classes in a variety of subjects, such as math, science, journalism, technology education, and language and applied arts. Nucla Junior/Senior High School also administers music, choir and physical education programs. In addition, the school supports the National Honor Society. It operates a library that houses a collection of books and reference materials. Additionally, the school participates in a range of sports activities, including baseball, basketball, cheerleading, football, wrestling, volleyball, and track and field.
