Church of God 7th Day is located on a street in a residential neighborhood. The church has services offered on Saturdays, including a service offered in Spanish. The church also offers Saturday school classes for youth.
Antonio Del Buono Elementary School (K-5) is one of Gilroy Unified School District's eight elementary schools. In excellent condition, the school was built in 1999-2000. Its library contains approximately 6,000 books and materials and has 64 computers for student use. It offers band, theater, chorus, wrestling, basketball, ultimate frisbee, football, soccer, track, field hockey and baseball.
Playland is a preschool with a strong focus on developing social competencies, including problem solving skills and teamwork. Tutoring is available for school-age groups.
St. Mary School in Gilroy offers kindergarten through 8th-grade education. Its program includes mentoring, music, Spanish and after-school sports in addition to core subjects. After one year of enrollment, competitive scholarship programs are available.
Mount Madonna is a public academic continuation high school that provides an alternative for students to continue their education while receiving special, individualized attention. Additional support is available for those who are learning English. Mount Madonna offers computer art; video and film production; dance, drawing and painting; Latin and Spanish languages; and academic contests. Sports available include basketball, football, baseball and volleyball. Vocational programs include health careers, law enforcement, food service, production and management.
