Granite Hills High School enrolls more than 2,200 students in grades nine through 12. The school offers instruction in English literature, American history, Spanish, physical education, chemistry, mathematics, computer science, French, broadcasting technology, biology, physics and economics. It also offers classes in student government, ceramics and technical theater. It offers various sports programs, such as baseball, basketball, softball, tennis, soccer, water polo, cross country, football, volleyball, golf, swimming and wrestling. The school also publishes a newspaper, Student Life. It provides a variety of food items in its breakfast and lunch menu. Located in Apple Valley, Calif., Granite Hills High School operates under the guidelines set by the Apple Valley Unified School District.
