Aurora Elementary School is a learning institution that promotes students intellectual, emotional, physical and social growth through instructional techniques and participation in a variety of learning opportunities. The school teaches various subjects, including math, social studies, English, computer applications, reading, writing, music, and health and physical education. It conducts guidance counseling sessions to assist students in the areas of listening and study skills, behavior, peer problems, self-esteem and family issues. In addition, the school has a cafeteria that offers a variety of food items. It serves students in kindergarten through grade six. Aurora Elementary School is a part of the Anchorage School District and is located in Elmendorf AFB, Alaska.
