UCP of Reston is an ecumenical church uniting in ministry four denominations: Christian Church, Church of Christ, Presbyterian Church and United Methodist Church.
Since its founding in 1973, UCP members has had an active membership and community. The church has many programs for all ages, as well as a preschool on the property.

St. John Neumann is a large Catholic church in South Reston. It practices in the tradition of St. Francis de Sales, and seeks to create an envrionment where all members grow in awareness of the Word of God and the teachings of faith.
The church also is committed to fellowship and outreach, with many programs for all ages in both the church and the community.
The Northern Virginia Hebrew Congregation, NVHC for short, is a synagogue serving more than 400 families from Fairfax and Loudoun Counties. The temple is an affiliate of the Union of Reform Judaism. It offers a welcoming religious community, weekly worship services, discussion groups, adult education and lifecycle events.
NVHC has an active Brotherhood, Sisterhood, Social Action Committee and Youth Groups. The temple is also home to a preschool for children ages 2-5.

The Unitarian-Universalist Church has offered a progressive religious community since the Reston Community Church was founded in 1970. The church affiliated with the Unitarian-Universalist Church in 1986 and continues to be a socially conscious congregation with deep roots in Reston. The church works with many local nonprofits, including Reston Interfaith, to serve all ages and promote activities that encompass the spirit of faith.
St. Thomas A. Becket is an active Catholic community that strives to advance christian love, social justice, God's eternal truth, and blessed peace through many paths. The church features a wide range of educational programs, spiritual activities, and other groups to encourage spiritual and community action.
Members of this church are engaged in the community and involved in many educational, outreach and worship programs. The church was founded in 1969 by Embry Rucker and has been an important part of Reston's religious and social action community ever since.
Reston Presbyterian Church is an Evangelical Presbyterian Church whose motto is "Reaching People for Christ." Its service style is contemporary and Sunday services average about 125 worshippers. Child care is available during services. The church also has study groups, youth programming and a choir. The church has several ministries and missions, including an ongoing project to buy a truck for a community in Kenya.
Washington Plaza Baptist Church, at Reston's historic Lake Anne Plaza, is an inclusive, multicultural congregation that welcomes all who seek to worship. The church offers study groups for various ages, a Sunday School for both children and adults, and an evening women's group.
