This church is led by Rev. John P. Singler. The reverend performs religious services including baptisms, reconciliations, rosaries, rites of Christian initiation, and confirmations. Ss Cosmas & Damian Church has extensive faith-based youth and adult groups for many different interests. If you are interested in becoming a new parishioner, the members meet on the first Sunday of the month at noon in Room 112 of The Administration Building.
St. Francis Rectory is located on Mayfield Road near the intersection of Mayfield and Som Center Road in Gates Mills. The rectory is where the priests of St. Francis live. There is a rectory office open daily. The St. Francis grounds have the church, rectory, playground, field and rectory office.
Christian Heritage Assembly of God church is dedictated to serving the community and sharing the faith both in the Avon area and overseas through giving to missions. The church offers programs for all ages, including several ministry programs for children, a social fellowship program for senionrs and a ministry for members under 40. Jeffrey Phail is the senior pastor.
Our Prayer Ministry
Prayer is one of our core ministries.
The vision adopted by the congregation for our prayer ministry is: "We will passionately seek the direction and empowerment of the Holy Spirit who speaks and acts through prayer. We will be spiritually alert, regular and intentional in our prayer life. We will use this powerful gift:
* to seek Gods will and guidance for our mission;
* to undergird and empower us toward Gods vision for us;
* in all aspects of our planning for the fulfillment of our of mission;
* in the attainment of our vision;
* in all our ministries and activities; and,
* in all our lives together."
Pilgrim Lutheran Brethren Church is traditional in practice and theology but informal in its style of worship; services are highlighted by signing, prayer and Bible-based sermons. Its Pastor is Bob Heggestad.
Christ the King is a congregation of the Evangilacal Lutheran Church of America and is located on Ravenna Road. A member of the Twinsburg community for more than 45, CTK holds traditional Sunday morning services at 10:00 AM and they also offer classes for adults and children.
Christ Episcopal Church hosts two services each Sunday. The first is a Quiet Holy Eucharist Rite I with no music and delivered in traditional language. At 10am Holy Eucharist Rite II is delivered in contemporary language, with an accompanying choir.
Sunday school programs for both children and adults are held from September through June. Nursery care is provided for children during Sunday services year round.
Suburban Temple - Kol Ami is a Reform Jewish congregation of 400 families located minutes from I-271 on Chagrin Boulevard in Beachwood. It is an egalitarian and inclusive community that welcomes Jewish, interfaith, LGBT and multiracial singles, seniors, couples, single parents and families to join the congregation. The synagogue has weekly and holiday worship services open to the community, an educational program for learners of all ages and regular cultural programs.
