St. Matthew Roman Catholic Church is the Roman Catholic Church in Dix Hills.
In May 2010 Reverend Robert Hewes was appointed the pastor of St. Matthew's parish, Dix Hills.
Most recently, Father Hewes served as pastor of St. James parish, Seaford. Ordained to the priesthood in 1978, he has served as associate pastor at St. Dominic parish, Oyster Bay, Our Lady of Lourdes parish, Massapequa Park and Our Lady of Mercy parish, Hicksville.

Located in Huntington, the St. Hugh of Lincoln Roman Catholic Church offers parishioners a variety of religious services accompanied by a warm, welcoming congregation. Led by Reverend Joseph Granata, the Church provides members with Sunday and weekday worship services, liturgy and music programs, youth ministries and education, study groups and more.
The senior pastor, Kim Chong Il, is fluent in Korean and English. Many of the adults in the congregation speak mainly Korean, while the children speak fluent English, so the church has English and Korean services.
There is also a camp, which about 90 children are attending this summer. They range in age from 2 to 13. The camp has 25 staff. The children go on field trips every Wednesday and on Fridays they go for half a day to the Dix Hills Pool. The children learn English, Korean, math, science and music, as well as other activities.
This beautiful church is on the corner of Deer Park Road, just off exit 51 of the Long Island Expressway. This is a "Bible-teaching church that preaches Jesus, the crucified and risen savior," according to Pastor Jerome Enderly. He added that the church has a multicultural following and even has members from around the world. Grace of God is the only Evangelical Lutheran church on Long Island and they chose Dix Hills because of its central location; they serve worshippers from New York City and all of Long Island.
Pastor Charles W. Froehlich has been the pastor for more than 30 years. St. Luke's has been in Dix Hills since 1962. It was the first Lutheran Church in Dix Hills and one of the first churches built in the area.
Meetings for parents with troubled teenagers and the local Boy Scouts troop are held here. The church also has services around the holidays like Easter and Thanksgiving to bring food to the underserved as well as on Super Bowl Sunday.
Dix Hills United Methodist Church is a religious community based in Dix Hills. Home to Pastor David Czeisel, the church offers Sunday worship services as well as participating in outreach programs including Angel Food Ministries and Habitat for Humanity. In addition to its on-site, community Preschool, DHUMC offers education programs including Sunday school, vacation Bible school and youth groups as well as classes for adults.
When asked to describe DHUMC in his own words, Pastor Czeisel said, "We are a multi-racial, multi-ethnic, world-wide church. We come from a variety of religious backgrounds. We feel we have a special outreach to those who have no church home, and those who have drifted away from the church for whatever reason. The Ancient Order of Hibernians is a Catholic, Irish American Fraternal Organization founded in New York City 4 May,1836. The Order can trace its roots back to a parent organization, of the same name, which has existed in Ireland for over 300 years. However, while the organizations share a common thread, the North American A.O.H. is a separate and much larger organization. The organization's social highlight of the year is the Grand Marshal Ball and the St. Patrick's Day Parade that steps off just north of the Huntington Train Station along New York Avenue before turning west onto Main Street ending at Saint Patrick's Church.
Some of the organizations to which the AOH donates are: Catholic Relief Services, the Pederson-Kreg Center and St. Baldricks.

They have a Wednesday Night Prayer at 7:30 in the Library.
The Ladies Bible studies meet weekly, Monday nights at 6:30pm and Tuesday mornings at 10:00am during the school year.
They also have a MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) group, which was created to meet some of the needs mothers of young children face today. The group meets on the third Thursday of each month, in the lower level, from 9:15am-12pm. Childcare is provided during meetings. A few social outings are also planned during the year, which are designed for women to attend without their children.
There is a men's bible study group, which meets for a Thursday night dinner and bible study with Pastor John Thursdays in the MPR at 6:30pm. There are also groups that meet during the week at different locations.
A young adult ministry meets on Sunday nights at 7:30pm in the Lower Level.
There are several youth groups: D'vine-Student Ministries: is for Senior and Junior High meeting weekly, Fridays at 7pm for Bible study and fellowship. Retreats, concerts and outreach opportunities are planned throughout the year. They have a website at www.dvine.info.
Pioneer Girls is a Bible-based activities club program for girls K-6 grade. Meetings are held Wednesdays at 7pm during the school year.
Christian Service Brigade is a Bible-based activities club for boys K-12 grade meeting Tuesdays at 7pm during the school year.

Faith Evangelical Free Church in Dix Hills is part of the Evangelical Free Church of America, which is an association of some 1,250 autonomous churches united by a mutual commitment to serve Jesus Christ with the guidance of the Holy Spirit and obedience to the word of God. The growing ministry of the EFCA currently extends to some 40 countries of the world. They describe the term "Evangelical" as their commitment to the proclamation of the Gospel and to the authority of Scriptures as being inerrant in the original autographs and the only safe and sufficient guide to faith and practice.
Upper Room Ministries is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year, having started in 1935. This group began by publishing a daily devotional guide in April 1935 in San Antonio, Texas. The guide is now one of five magazines that the Upper Room publishes in what is now a global ministry. The ministry headquarters is in Nashville, Tennessee.

Located in Huntington Station, Huntington Assembly of God is a religious institution that provides spiritual services to the community. Services include Sunday school, child care, prayer services, men's, women's and children's ministries, youth fellowship and more.
An affiliate of the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism, this temple has a religious school, a preschool, a men's club and a sisterhood. Rabbi Howard Buechler explains that there are three Hebrew words for synagogue (temple): A Beit Tefillah, a House of Prayer; a Beit Midrash, a House of Study; and a Beit Knesset, a House of Assembly. The rabbi feels that Dix Hills Jewish Center is all three. Shabbat services are held on Friday nights and Saturday mornings.
Rabbi Avraham Lehr said, "Everyone is welcome at the Chai Center, regardless of one's level of religious observance. The philosophy is in keeping with the Chabad-Lubavitch approach of joy, scholarship and unconditional acceptance and love of every Jew."
No membership is required. The Rabbi said that at the average shabbat service, 100 people will attend. But at a High Holy Day service, for example, the temple will be packed to capacity with 600 people. You don't need to pay for a ticket to attend a High Holy Day service, like you do at most temples.
