Eskaton Fair Center Fair Oaks is a rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility that offers long term and respite care for seniors. It has 149 beds for patients who live there and require nurse assistance. There is also a smaller section for temporary patients undergoing rehabilitative services with 49 units. The building is spread out and feels inviting, with a gazebo, porches, gardens, and a fountain in the front. When entering the lobby, it is like a large living room with hanging lamps, cushioned chairs, tables, couches and a fireplace. There is a help desk off to the side. Residents and their family members or nurses stroll about at all times of the day and social activities are offered.
Center Point has several branches located in Northern California, Oklahoma and Texas, and this is the only location in the Sacramento area. This particular Center Point location is a residential rehabilitative facility for men and women recovering from alcohol or drug addictions. There is room for 31 adults and the intensive social and vocational skills program that is implemented usually lasts for several months, depending on the individual's needs. The goal of the program is for individuals to be well adjusted when they return to their community.
