Serving Castro Valley, as well as San Lorenzo, Fairview, Ashland, Cherryland and of course Hayward, the Hayward Area Recreation and Park District ensures locals have access to beautiful, well maintained parks--an assett to any community. But if you need to address the Board of Directors about any park-related issue, there's an easy way to do that: attend a board meeting on the 2nd or 4th Monday of each month at the District Administration Building located at 1099 E Street in Hayward. Meetings usually start at 7pm (check the agenda online to be sure). So, attend a meeting, have your say, and then go enjoy yourself at one of the district's 100-plus parks.
