About Us Founded by Armand Houle in 1940, Houles Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning has been providing services to the Greater Waterville area for over 72 years. Armand started out with one business philosophy: "if you do quality work, word of mouth will do the advertising for you". That philosophy has stood the test of time. The one-man, one-truck business of the 1940s grew under the guidance of Armands son Carroll to include one of the states first bath showroom, an expanded staff of 30 full-time professionals and 18 service vehicles. Carrolls daughter Kimberly LaMarre, P.E. and son-in-law, Anthony LaMarre, P.E. joined the Company in 1995. Since Carrolls retirement in 2005, Anthony has taken over as President. Air Quality Indoor air pollution can affect your familys health. We can help supply and install air purifiers and humidifiers, and were certified in duct system design, installation, and cleaning. HVAC Operations and Maintenance We provide full-service maintenance, with dedicated staff to ensure on-going system maintenance and quick repair. HVAC Installation - We provide full and partial HVAC system replacement, as well as brand new ground-up installations. HVAC Systems Design and Project Management We specialize in retrofitting older buildings with new heating and cooling systems.
