Milestones is a facility certified by the State Department of Education, offering ABA and social skills group for those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The group's services are based on the belief that children with autism or other similar disorders are capable of far more than most people realize and a successful treatment program should address a child's intellectual, physical and social development. Milestones has been serving the Bay Area since 1998, with the neurofeedback and cognitive rehabilitation program added in 2009. The organization extends its services to the international community as well. Milestones offer a variety of services for children in different age groups and home- and community-based programs. In addition, there are workshops and training for parents and educators.
The first Buttercup Grill & Bar is a family restaurant that offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. It opened in Walnut Creek in 1988 and has expanded to five locations in the East Bay since then. The Walnut Creek location features a full bar, outdoor dining and banquet facilities. Portions are large, and the environment is very family friendly.

Crogan's Bar & Grill has been a corner night spot for more than 35 years. It serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, but is more of a bar than a grill. Most of its clients come in the late hours. There is a small outdoor sitting area and a game room, a jukebox and TV screens in every corner. Happy hour is every night from 4pm till 7pm and all night on Mondays. It has karaoke on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Thursday through Saturday are DJ dDancing nights. After 10 p.m. there is a five-dollar cover charge.
