Driftwood School offers a range of educational opportunities for students in kindergarten through grade eight. The school provides instruction in math, science, physical education, literature, writing, social studies and history. It has a library that stocks a collection of various types of books. Driftwood School maintains a cafeteria that provides a variety of food options for lunch. The school enrolls more than 150 students, as well as offers athletic opportunities. It is a part of the Port Orford/Langlois School District, which also governs Pacific High School to provide educational and recreational programs for students in grades 9 through 12.
