PS 98 Elementary School, also known as the Douglaston School of Literature, is located along scenic 235th Street in Douglaston. It is one block from the community's Long Island Rail Road station.

The brick schoolhouse is frequently cited among the city's highest-ranking for test scores. Sheila Huggins is the school's principal.

The school offers a variety of extracurricular activities and clubs for its students, including Dancing Classrooms, a citywide dance competition that PS 98 won in 2006.

Offering instruction to Little Neck youngsters from grades K-5, the stated mission at P.S. 94 is "to foster a collaboration among parents, students and staff to enrich the learning experience of each child." 

Located on a residential stretch of Little Neck Parkway, north of Northern Boulevard, the David D. Porter campus has a strong community feel. 

According to Little Neck's Department of Education, the school offers a Bronx Zoo Program, computerized instruction and violin lessons using the Suzuki teaching method. David D. Porter also participates in Math in the City, a program funded through the National Science Foundation.
