Strafford School is divided into elementary and middle school areas. It enrolls more than 500 students in kindergarten through grade eight. The school offers instruction in robotics, art, instrumental music, physical education, foreign languages, health education, chorus and technology education. It provides various extracurricular activities, including a school newspaper, literary magazine, yearbook, interscholastic sports, Destination Imagination, digital film production and student government. The school offers a reading recovery program that provides early intervention to first grade students who need support in reading. It also uses digital technology to produce its own newsletters, Web sites, photographs, videos and other media products. The school is located in Strafford, N.H.
