Welcome to Cedar Vale Schools. As the Elementary Principal and Title I Director it is with great honor and pride that I serve our dedicated faculty, parents and students. I look forward to working together to guide your child towards life long learning and achievement. It is especially important for all of our students to consider what their expectations are for their school year. As parents and teachers, we foster this learning moment by discussing our childrens goals with them in regards to academics, attitude and behavior. At Cedar Vale Elementary, we encourage our students to set goals and achieve to a high standard of learning, attitude, and behavior. Positive goal setting is the first step towards long lasting achievement.I would also like to encourage all parents to make a special effort to join with our staff to improve communication between Cedar Vale Elementary and your home. At all grade levels, nightly home folders are provided to assist with parent communication. We have on-line access available also. We are working on establishing a parent policy and continue to ensure that we are working together for student success. The greatest resource a successful school has is its people. Parents and community support is essential to who we are and what we hope to accomplish. Thank you again for your continued support and cooperation. We all should be very proud of the outstanding accomplishments of our Cedar Vale school family.
