The Shorewood Public Library is an informational facility which endeavors to provide its community with materials, programs and events that meet the personal, educational and professional needs of its patrons. This library offers research database resources, children's programs and events, book clubs for teens, homework help, story times, author visits and more.
Nestled on the hills of West Grand Avenue and North Webster Street, the W.J. Niederkorn Library can be accessed from both floors. The upper floor features adult books, reference materials and other types of media, while the entire bottom floor is dedicated to children's reading. This library is a busy place to be, with plenty of adult and youth activities planned each month, but visitors will easily browse the shelves in the calm and quiet considered typical of such an atmosphere.
The Whitefish Bay Public Library was established in 1937 in the basement of the old Village Hall. It is currently located next to Village Hall on Marlborough Drive between Fleetwood Place and Blairwood Place.
The library offers two reading rooms, a program room for library and public use, additional programming and 11 internet stations along with study rooms. The library also offers free wireless internet service.
