Harborfields Public Library is located in Greenlawn, N.Y. The library serves its members by providing educational and recreational materials, technological resources and an active schedule of programs and displays. The library also provides new books, periodicals, vertical file materials, audiocassettes, compact discs, instructional videocassettes, VHS tapes and DVDs. It also provides online public access catalogs. The library works with local organizations to act as a unifying factor in the community. Harborfields Public Library also offers access to the Virtual Reference Collection that is a cooperative project of the public libraries in the Suffolk county.
