Standard Printed Circuits is an independently owned manufacturer and supplier of printed circuit boards to original equipment manufacturers and contract manufacturers primarily based in the Northeastern United States. The company serves more than150 customers nationwide, including IBM, General Electric, Emerson Electric, Magnavox, Teledyne Avionics, Bendix, Cornell University and Rutgers University. It is also expanding its capabilities to meet growing demand for commercial microwave products. Standard Printed Circuits was established in 1967 as a division of Commack Precision Products Corporation, a manufacturer of primary electronic parts for defense industry giants, such as Sperry, Hartman Systems, Grumman, Teledyne and Sanders. This division was formed because, at the time, the printed circuit board was becoming an increasingly popular device for the interconnection of electronic components.
