The Wonder Years Learning Center provides children of all ages with a safe environment to learn. Its philosophy is that children need to explore, create, play and learn at their own developmental pace. All classrooms are interactive, supporting each child's individual growth and development. Parents are encouraged to visit often. The Wonder Years Learning Center is dedicated to upholding high standards for the safety of its facility.
The Learning Experience is an early education academy that accepts students from infants to kindergarten level, from ages 6 weeks to 5 years. It is a complete child development center. It also offers a summer program.
The Tender Learning Center is a childcare center that has two locations, one here and one in Burlington. It is open year-round for kids from 0-14 years of age. This location is even open on holidays and snow days for parents that need to work. There are a variety of games for kids to play with and five playgrounds for them to enjoy. The Tender Learning Center also offers a behavior management plan when conflicts arise. A personal visit by staff members is required to enroll at this location.
The Abundant Life Christian Center Church is an evangelical church as well as a school and "Learning Center." In the day care, known as the Learning Center, you will find children from three- to 24-months old. The pre-school and pre-K age-range is from 2 to 5 years. There is also an elementary and middle school that runs up to 8th grade. The center stresses Christian philosophy and beliefs in all its classrooms. It was founded in 1982 by the First Baptist Church of Wilmington and moved into its current 21,000-square-foot space in 1996.
The Boutwell Early Childhood Center serves preschool- and kindergarten-aged children in eight classrooms. The school offers special education classes and resources such as speech pathology, a resource room, occupational and physical therapy, as well as reading assistance. Extended hours are available both before and after school.
