Happy Child Day Care Center is  a child care center for infants through pre-kindergarten aged children. Its classrooms  provide a warm and nurturing environment for children and learn and develop their skills. It is located on the corner of Chestnut and Oak Street and is an NAEYC accredited school.

Upper Falls Nursery School is located in the Emerson Community Center on Pettee St. in Newton. The school emphasizes social, emotional and intellectual development through self discovery and creative projects. Their hope is to help children gain a strong sense of self confidence as well as  form relationships with other children. Programs are offered for children aged 2.9-5 years old.
