The Reverend Richard Pentello VF helms St. Patrick parish. The church was established in Kent in the 1860s, although a dedicated group of Catholics had been meeting regularly in Kent for more than a decade prior to that.
In addition to local and global ministries, the church supports a thriving school located across the street for students in grades K-8.
Fairlawn Lutheran Church offers traditional services and runs a preschool and kindergarten. It was founded in 1960.
