Serving Wayzata, Plymouth, Orono, Long Lake, Medina and Maple Grove and the surrounding communities, St. Edward's congregation nurtures, worships and reaches out in love. Its education program begins with youth ages 3 to 5 and continues to grades 7 to 9 through adulthood.

The staff here says that one of the church's more popular ongoing projects is the HNOJ Service Team, where the church bands together to address immediate, emergency needs in the community. Holy Name of Jesus is located off of Route 24 in north Wayzata.

The church offers a wide range of worship services, as well as numerous ministries, including pastoral, worship, music, faith, and business administration. The church also has a Catholic school and offers day care for children, including infants and toddlers, as well as pre-schoolers. Wayzata Community Church is part of the United Church of Christ. Wayzata Community follows the path of Jesus Christ, encourages each person’s individual spiritual journey and reaches out in love to those in need locally, nationally and internationally. The church is located on Wayzata Boulevard East, near the Wayzata West Middle School.
Good Shepherd Lutheran Church offers traditional and contemporary worship services, with lots of activities for youth. The Spirit Singers, its contemporary choir, plays an important part in Good Shepherd's services. Although not run by the church, Shoreline's Early Education Center is located in the building.
Calvary Memorial is an Evangelical Christian Church located at the corner of Shoreline Drive and Dunwoody Avenue. In addition to adult ministries, it offers senior and junior high youth ministries. Calvary Memorial Christian School is in the building and offers pre-K plus full- and half-day kindergarten.
