Since 1860, St. John the Baptist Catholic Church has welcomed worshippers. What started out as a small chapel is now a large parish that serves the greater Sonoma County area. Reverends Walt Rogina and Carlos Ortega hold daily masses and accept confessions Saturdays from 4pm to 4:30pm, or by appointment. St. John the Baptist also provides baptisms and wedding services.

The Redwood Foursquare Church members worship at Hope Chapel. Just a short walk from the plaza, Hope Chapel is a beautifully restored church with massive stained glass windows. The contemporary music and a casual atmosphere enhance when Pastor Mark Williams preaches a message of hope in the grace and forgiveness of Jesus Christ. 

The Foursquare Church is a variation of Pentecostalism that traces its origins to the early 1920s and the evangelist Aimee Semple McPherson.

A Pentecostal church on the outskirts of town, Kingdom Christian Center has an extensive program of worship and spiritual growth for all ages, including a two-hour Sunday service, youth activities and a program to help enhance the health of marriages and families. Lance Yeley and wife Tracy are the senior pastors and church founders. Seventh Day Adventists have deep roots in Healdsburg. In the late 1800s  they established their first church. A few years later, they founded Healdsburg College, where many of the sons and daughters of the town's pioneering families received advanced educations. Today, Seventh Day Adventists worship at this attractive, light-filled sanctuary built on an elevated site just minutes from the plaza.
