Light On The Corner Church is a community church in historic downtown Montrose. It offers Christianity to those searching for God's word or looking for a new place of worship. It is active in the community and through youth programs, women's program and by supporting many events in the area.
A genuinely kind church, South Shores was founded in 1958 by a group of locals from the beach community. A few years later, the church was accepted and incorporated into the American Baptist Church. The mission of the family of faith at South Shores Church is to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Dr. Tyler Guy is the senior pastor. The church is licensed to operate a preschool and kindergarten. Weddings are performed on Saturday mornings and afternoons and Sunday afternoons.
Led by pastor Richard Burkey, the mission of Christ Lutheran Church is to “develop dynamic disciples for Christ.” It hosts regular services and provides care for children under the age of three during Sunday worship. It offers a variety of adult and youth programs for kids of all ages such as the God Squad for children in grades 4 through 6. The church is involved in a variety of ministries and community projects at home and abroad.
Capitol City Baptist Church is on a large, gated campus near Highway 99. Its large size allows for its parishioners to come together for Sunday services at 11am and 6pm. The Capitol City Baptist Church offers a Sunday School program, Bible study and youth groups. Sunday School starts at 9:30am.
Founded in 1964, the Trinity Presbyterian Church has been a cornerstone of San Carlos since 1964. With nearly 500 members comprising the congregation at this location, the church mixes new, traditional and experimental forms of worship.
Trinity offers communion on the first Sunday of each month, and performs weddings, hosts youth events with live music and features activities for students in elementary, middle school and high school. The towering Church is located off Alameda Street. Services are held every Sunday.

This clean, well-maintained church offers Sunday school at 9am and Sunday worship services at 10am. Other worship opportunities include adult bible study on Tuesday at 7pm, women's bible study on Thursday at 9:30am and men's prayer service on Saturday at 7:30am. First Baptist offers child care as well.

Faith Presbyterian Church of Valley Village began as a gathering of the faithful under the trees of a school yard on Moorpark Street in 1940. The current location was purchased in 1947. It provides worship and Bible study on Sunday, as well as Sunday school and Support Valley Interfaith Food Pantry.
The church campus is now home to a multipurpose and nutrition center for senior citizens (East Valley Multipurpose Senior Center) managed by the Valley Interfaith Council (VIC), a preschool run by Headstart, and the meeting place for a variety of religious fellowships, self-help groups and 12-step programs. The Filipino Seventh-day Adventist Fellowship also holds worship services on the campus of Faith Pres.
The Seaside Center for Spiritual Living is hidden from Lake Drive by Cardiff-By-The-Sea Sport Park. Look for the sign at Cardiff Drive and follow it to the parking lot that serves the church and the park. The green awning marks the entrance of the Center, which holds services on Sundays and Wednesdays. Programs for children of all ages are available during Sunday services. The Reverend Christian Sorensen leads Sunday services and the Reverend Tammy Miller leads Wednesday services complete with music, prayer, meditation and a spiritual message.
The iconic church at the intersection of Main Street and Freedom Boulevard is home to the city's largest congregation. The church was founded in 1869 and its current brick building was built in 1901.
The multicultural church hold mass twice on Saturday evening and six times Sunday. The services are split evenly between English and Spanish and morning billingual mass is offered daily. The church also has education programs and raises money to support community groups.
