CHENA RIVER KENNELS is located on 5 wooded acres on the banks of the beautiful Chena River between Fairbanks and North Pole, AK. We are a small hobby kennel and only have a litter every couple of years. When we do breed a litter, it is to keep a puppy for ourselves to carry on our breeding program. All of our breeding stock have appropriate health clearances. Temperment is of the utmost importance to us. In all of our breedings, we adhere to the Labrador Retriever Breed Standard as closely as possible.Our labs are bred for obedience, hunting or to be loyal companions. They are pretty enough to enter into the conformation ring.
All of our dogs and litters are registered with the American Kennel Club. We do encourage our puppy buyers to register their puppies.
Donna is an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator and teaches AKC Star Puppy Class, CGC classes and Rally O classes. She is a Legislative Liason with the AKC for the Tanana Valley Kennel Club.
